I was over at Las Vegas F-Body ( http://www.lvfbody.com/ ) and was checking out Matthew Guimond's bada** 99Z28 and noticed he had a small sticker on the side of his rear glass. It's his websight logo. And I loved the style and look so I'm gonna have one made for my car after I get my windows tinted. I think the size and placement are just right. Not overdone but still noticeable and you could even color match your car. Here's my design of the sticker.

I sent Matthew an e-mail asking him if it was ok to use their logo as a template for our sticker design. I just recieved an e-mail from Matthew. Goes as follows:

Hey, thanks for the compliment...Although I not too sure the other members
of the 3rd gen board will like my car as much as you do!:-)

I dont mind you borrowing the style of our club decals at all.
As a matter of fact, I could send you one if you like, to use as a template.
I dont have a decal in front of me, so Im not positive of the size...but I
would guess they are about 7 inches long and about 2 and a half inches tall.

Also...

If you would want, I could have them made for you.
In any colors you want.
With shipping to you, or to whoever wants them, they would be about $1.50

1) CrkHedMat is a cool guy as long as you dont **** on his house (inside joke)

2) i can take pics of the LVF logos on my 96 if you want.. or you can see some pics on the site, member #98.... good pics, but hard to see the stickers...

U can't do that because ThirdGen.Org is Dirk's site. If any1 is going to make merchandise, it has to be him or no1 since he owns it.

Yes I understand that Dirk has final say since it's his site and a great one at that. My only reason for posting this was in an effort to help find a sticker design that everyone would like and then Dirk would see and decide if he approved. And my reason for asking Matthew was cause I was modifying his Website Logo or sticker, so I asked for his permission before I did so. He said "ok". This is only a "suggestion". Matthew was just being a gentleman by offering to make the stickers. He was not asked. Sorry if you took it the wrong way. John

I may be speaking out of context but I don’t think Dirk would care if you made your own. I am sure he is just concerned about people making a profit on the Thirdgen name.

This is just my opinion so don’t hold me to this.

Thirdgenfbody.com thanks for the pic. I do love it but it needs the "www.thirdgen.org" maybe underneath the sticker you have. Like the actual Website Logo. Chuck thanks for you thoughts on this subject but I would want Dirks approval before I decided to have one made athough I don't think he'd mind as long as noone was getting profit from it. It's just the right thing to do. Anymore thoughts or opinions.
