Okay, so I've seen some pics of people with some sweet orange...yellow camaros... but what about purple ones? Anybody here got one? Here's some pics that I was able to find on google.











Not sure what I think.... I thought purple could be a pretty cool color for our cars, but none of these really do anything for me :/

I've always loved the Purple Haze 3rd gens.

 

I can never get a decent picture of the color, but here's one of the better pictures I have of my purple RS.

Theese shots are GREAT!! But I would be more inclined to say they are Burgandy or maybe....... When I hear purple > I think Barney > Barney and great cars don't go together.... Do they? Love the PICS !!!!!

awwww yeah thats what im talkin about. the convertible under the bridge with the torque thrusts got me. whooooo!

 

I wish my torque thrusts were bigger. I have 15x7s on the GTO that also fit on my 91, but I think they need to be at least 16s or 17s.

 

i used to have a purple rs..TRUST ME! girls loved it haha GM called it hawiian orchid..weird but yea look it up..it looks nice wit chrome and is a major head turner..not many pple see purple camaros lol but now i got my iroc

My Camaro was paintet in USA before 92(before he was red).....he comes to germany 1992....
I drive this baby only in the sommertime.....no rain,..ice....
I am a lucky boy,...i drive my iroc sometimes with full speed on germanys AUTOBAHN.....thank you germany,....

Mine was originally built red, but I had a complete color change to a flip-flop (purple to blue).....It was PURPLE in person, but the pics always came out looking blue.

Hey, this is my buddy's old 92' Camaro RS. It had just won a local car show at a Walgreens in Fairborn Ohio. It had a V6 and sounded better than any stock V8 I've ever heard in a Camaro. I miss this car, wish he'd never would of sold it.

 

Heres my 1984 z28.. and purple. My first car, have a lot of work, but i am going to eventually repaint it purple...

Custom purple w/pink, blue, purple, white, grey and other pearls in the clear coat. The color changes depending on lighting - bright sun and she's the colors you see in the pic, no light and she's a dark bluish-purple.

She's getting a new paint job right now - something the shop says has never been seen before. Fortunately or unfortunately I'll just have to wait to see it before I know if I'll like it or not. :-/

I've always wanted to see someone do a Iroc in purple, and put all the iroc decal's and striping on I think it would look killer. Purple with the silver iroc door decals, and silver striping mmmmmmmm

 

I just recently purchased one! Needs a bit of work though! T-Tops, glass/metal ones that do not leak! I need a new lip though >_>

 

I LOVE the purple haze Camaros.

If everything goes right my red bird will be bright purple metallic like the 4th gen birds. Something like this:

purple is cool, had one for about 5 yrs with purple marblizer racing stripes down the middle from front to back. had some damage done on it, when I got it fixed the body man informed me the color of the car was a tropical orchad purple, I'll try and find some pics, its been 6 years now

 

hawaiian orchid metallic is the color most dealerships and paint shops call it

 

i still want that car lol

Not a Camaro, Firebird or F-Body. This is the same AS the BEAUTIFUL PURPLE, 1968, Huffy Rail , as the one I bought in 1968, when I was 12, using my "Paper Route" earnings. Always loved purple since. It is "The nicest example on the planet" based on my 1 year internet search, before buying it on Ebay, in 2022, from it's Original Owner!
