Can Pro Tint job be removed from doors?

I may want to remove the tint from the door windows and replace it. It is starting to look scratched, etc. Can the Pro shop I had it done at remove it and replace with new tint? Has anyone ever done this?

The place you had it tinted at should be able to remove the old tint and retint it. I just had to have mine removed and retinted. Shouldn't be a problem on the sides, the hatch is a different story. They just use a window scraper with a fresh razor blade in it to scrape the old off.

Thanks guys. I may leave it for now since I know it can be done easily, but come winter time while in hibernation in the garage off it comes so I can have that fresh look in the spring.

BTW, the main scratched area seems to have come from the 2 screws that hold in the arm rest. You see a few weeks ago I put on new door panels and ever since the glass has started to get scratched(same place, both doors) where the screws are when the window is down. All I could figure is I put the screws back in tighter than they originally were. Anyone ever had this problem?

I took off the doorpanels, peeled off the tint with a razor blade and then I used brake fluid to remove the glue. don't get any on the paint, but it removes the glue awesome. use a hair dryer when pulling the tint.
