I had that night shade spray on my tail-lights and wanted to remove it so it would look good when I got my car painted. Well, I got this "plasitc safe" paint remover that totaly melted the top layer of the plastic cover on the lights. Well, I just took 60 grit sand paper (and a power sander) and took it down, then went with 150 grit, then down to 600 grit to smooth it real good. Then I taped off the cover part and sprayed the inner sections (the "grids") gloss black again, then took clear coat to the lenses and like new tail-lights. Just thought I would share my mess up/fix up with you all!

Good luck, they make any old faded lights look new, also did my fog lights, turn lights and parking lights, works like a charm!

If you want them really shiny, take some polish (the same as you would use on paint) and polish the lenses. I did this to my set that i paid $50 for from a swap meet and they look brand new.
