changing a teal camaro to flame red. we've already striped the interior to the bare metal, carpet, headliner, trim, all that is gone. i'd like the car to be like it came from the factory red. i don't want there to be one inch of teal on the car, even in the places you will never see. so we are taking off the fenders, all of that good stuff, painting the engine bay, everything. i am wondering what else is going to be teal that you can't see so i can attempt to paint that red. it seems like a lot of work, has anyone else here changed the color of their car and went all out and painted everything? thanks! how much work and time went into it?

 

well the quarters arent painted under them... so unless you have rust issues, i wouldnt take them off

 

he probably means fenders... i know people who call fenders quarter panels.. but i do not know why.

 

i mean fenders lol. how hard is it to take all the junk out of the engine bay?

 

It's not hard, but it's not any fun either.
