saw this pic on here and was wondering if i just keep my older style ground effects with my highrise wing and a 91 92 z28 hood with blisters like this guy has going on if it would look good/okay. or should i just keep trying to find a set of 91 92 ground effects to make it right?? "not my car just using this one for reference"

 

i think it would look fine but if you ever have a chance get the later style but it should be fine but the later style make the camaros more "EXOTIC" lookin with the highrise wing, blister hood, and later ground effects.

 

yeah they are more appealing but what sucks is my "flat style" ground effects are pretty much perfect and people want way more $ for those 91 92 style ground effects i might just keep looking and if i dont get them by the time i paint then i guess ill keep my old ones

 

Personal preference. Keep what you have if you like it, or switch.

I think it looks good just as it is, but would look good switched too. Either way. it'll look good. But switched, it would look just like all the other 91/92 Z28s. Right now, you have a bit if uniqueness.

 

yeah your right plus i like that there actually made of fiberglass and just off topic your sequential tailight mod is freakin awesome if i had a firebird/trans am id be all over that. but most likely if i come across a set for cheap ill do the swap. thanks

 

It looks nice having that set up like the one you have. I would go with the 91-92 ground effects. The reason i am going with that package is because someone told me that the areo package is more ariel dynamic and would help my car settle down more when going at high speeds

 

the scoops really arent functional are they? im just curious because i wonder if you open up the scoops if that would help in any way.

 

i doubt there functional there only for looks

 

Yeah...They are purely cosmetic.

On your side note above....A few Camaros have been STS equipped, but it isn't as easy because of the amber lens needed to be converted to red & the small bulb in outer corners need the larger bulb put in.

 

well how hard and how much would it cost

 

I dont see anything wrong with the "flat" ground effects and the newer spoiler. No one would even know it wasnt supposed to be like that unless they knew third gens.

 

i also think it looks fine but the newer rocker panels give it more of an aero * ferrari * look to it.
