Paint Process

I am paint the car this fall my self. The paint from the precious owner was all orage peel or rust and dings.

I would like some tips, but I really need to know what sandpaper when, and what primer/paint/clear. (?)

Save your keyboard if you are trying to talk me out of it. I have already 400 gritted the passenge rear.

I have a foam sanding cup, a two hand sanding block, 220, 400, 600, 1000 and rubing compound.

Thanks in advance.

i've painted car once it was fine... but i managed to get perfect "orange" texture... to make sure you'll get same results, spray very thin layers which will dry right away (don't have to worry about leaks) and result will be perfect "orange" texture. looks cool when car will be orange too
