fabricated valve covers

who has them. how do they fit. did you drill them for the openings or have them drilled. if you drilled them was it just a hole saw or a step bit. are they hard to keep up. did they come with baffles. looking at these.

one thing i seem to notice is that some dont have a channel for the gasket to ride in. is this true or is it that i just cant see them.

True, the flange is a flat piece (billet on the more expensive ones) but it hasn't given me problems as I have glued the gasket to the valvecovers

false a lot of them are just cheaply made the ones i found are milled on the bottom so you can use a rubber stock type gasket, mine fit great only thing i had to do is use a few dabs of rtv to hold the gasket in place so it wouldn't fall off when i put them on the heads
