Transmission: T-5 (Going T-56 down the road)

Hello Everyone! I'm kind of a newbie here too and figured I should introduce myself!
Hello all.
I have been lurking here in the past and just recently bout an '87 Z28, LG4/T5. Here are some pics of it the day I bought it:

As you can see, the seats are in great shape but it needs a few interior parts. The paint on the other hand is toast.
Future plans are to fix the interior stuff (horn button, headliner, shifter boot, console lid), re-paint it the factory red and drop the silver 2-tone. Then swap in the IROC front grill and wheels.
Down the road I will be swapping the LG4/T5 for an LSX/T56.
The car is a no option, no a/c, hardtop (lightweight) and will make a nice bracket racer.
Anyhow, just wanted to say hello.
