I really like that style hood. Alot of poeple say it belongs on a 4th gen more so than on our 3rd gen's but, I definetly think that it looks good on our cars....also giving our cars a more intimidating look. I plan to get that hood for my 86 TA eventually-after all the motor work will get done Just my opinion. Good luck.

I was going to say...before you make the car look fast as hell, maybe make it perform fast as hell first When you add that hood after, you'll have the b@lls to back up the intimidation factor that the hood will give the car

I don't think they look good on third gens because they are more square. The hood goes with the curves of the fourth gen. It doesn't look too bad though.
As for needing the ***** behind the car, thats not entirely true. If you make a car look like its fast, it will intimidate people, you're right. Some people won't even want to race because they figure its fast and don't wanna bother.

The only reason I said "it should have the ***** to back up its looks" is because that's how i'd want to have mine. My taste dictates to me, that if I was to do that to MY car, then I would want it to perform as well as it looks. Granted, not everyone will agree, or care. Thats fine. This is just my opinion. Alot of people around where I live like to challenge me to the whole street-drag contests. Even in my C5, I get VW's, maro's, TA's, and all kinds of cars out there that challenge me. Most of the time, I pi$$ all over them. But in the TA, with its stock 305 TPI, its not hard to loose to a VTECH that has some mods. Therefore, if i was to go to that length to start building up the outside to make it look faster/meaner/more intimidating, FOR ME, I would need to do the same to the insides too.
