For those wanting fabricated valve covers

I have been wanting fabricated valve covers for a long time. I was about to pay the $200 that Summit wants for theirs. Then I found some on Ebay. Normally I'm very skeptical of Ebay stuff but this guy had 61,000+ reviews that were 99.9% positive so I figured they couldnt be that bad. His name is Skip White by the way. I put them on today and could not be happier. These cost me $69 including shipping. They came to me nearly perfect. There were a few very minor scratches in two of the reliefs for the valve covers bolts. But for less than half of what the cheapest alternatives cost, I have no room to complain. The rails look about 1/4" thick. I have not drove the car yet so I cant say that there is no leaking, but I set them on the ground and they were completly flat so I'm not expecting any leaks.

I didnt want breathes on top so I got a Billet Specialties PCV for the drivers side, and then got a -10 AN turbo drain flange to bolt to the passenger side valve cover in the back. I then stuffed 1/2" rubber hose in to run down the intake manifold. It's only a breather tube so leaks arent really an issue. I then bent a piece of 1/2" aluminum fuel line into a 90 degree and the top of it sits up underneath the air filter base. There is no actually breather on the tube but due to its location, I'm not worried about anything getting down the tube. If it winds up spitting oil out (I doubt this as the tube ends about 2" above the valve cover) I will make a baffle to bolt in the inside of the valve cover. Here's some pics.

The scraches on this one, I did. I might pull it off and and sand it down to re-polish it.

Here is the hose I made for the breather.

We use a TIG welder @ work, and I gotta say, getting a surface to stay flat enough for gaskets is an art.
Kudos to Skip.
