Questions to Ram air and cowl hood owners

I've always wondered what you do when it rains? (functional ram-air cowl hoods) is there a flap or something you and put down or something?

i dont have a problem that i know of when it rains. i have a 4" cowl, but most cowl's come back towards the windshield enough that when it does rain almost all of the water goes into the ducts below the wipers.

I have a Ram Air hood, and no matter how much it rains, it doesn't bother the engine. Water does get in, but it usually evaporates pretty quickly. I haven't had any problem with it.
