First road trip of the season in my 89 RS!!
Well yesturday I took my car out on a 350 mile road trip around the state on a combination of roadways. I just cleaned my injection system up and did some basic maintanence and managed to pull a solid 29mpg average out of the car. It's an 89 RS with a little 2.8 MPFI. It's got just a little over 49,000 miles on her so far. She's not too fast, but I constantly get good complements on how "how clean it looks for being 100% original". It's nice to be able to have a car that you love and looks good. Dirty or not these 3rd gens. just look sweet in my opionion!! Happy riding everyone!!

Nice looking ride, especially for a Michigan car of 21 years
I used to live out there many moons ago, but Uncle Sam displaced me out here to Washington (and a few places along the way), and here I've stayed.

Very nice car, I purchased a 1988 RS a few weeks ago from the original owner. It has 80,000 original miles on it. Great car and averaged over 26 mpg with three adults in it and full of luggage for a weekend trip. Fantastic little car. The little 2.8L is not fast but I had no problem keeping up with traffic (75-80mph for hours at a time).
