Repairing an 85-90 aero spoiler...
I found an 89 formula in the junkyard yesterday, and it has the aero spoiler. Its in bad condition, the rubber is tearing on the passenger side corner, and it it sort of wavy. The good thing is the jankyard is only asking $25 for it. Is there anything I can buy to fix this? Is it possible to use bondo to fill in the cracks. I am good at body work, I know I can get it smooth but I dont know if bondo and spot putty will work on rubber. Will it crack over time? Also, I have heard of a flexible bondo which is meant for rubber bumpers like ours. Would this work?

Ever hear the phraise, "You can't polish a turd"? It applies here. You can put all the filler you want on it. It's not going to prevent the rubber from continuing to deteriorate.
