Thanks for at least thinking of us. Most Americans before this mishap, forgot about there military, forgot about who was sitting on the walls protecting them and there freedom. Now, with war just around the corner, folks all of the sudden remember us {the military}.

well I can say after serving 2 years in the navy, people have not forgotten about us. They want to take our money, and lots of it. They rip us (the military personel) off every chance they get. They use us for protection, but are more then happy to take all the money we have.(of which I made 1275 a month), so that was bupkis for pay. I was an AD(jet engine mechanic on the F/A-18 B/C/D aircraft. the engines were 2.5 million a piece but I got paid 1275 a month.(E-3 pay after 18 months of service).

There were so many local merchants thay prayed on the "entry level" personel it is rediculous. 1 of the 2 thirds I have no I got ripped off so bad its pathetic. And I walked out of the sales room 4 TIMES!, and I still got a *hit deal. I bought a 92 camaro rs 3.1 for about 6500 minus the interest. With interest around 9k. I was SO PISSED. I could not get a rate lower then 20 percent!. hell I would have payed less if I had payed with a credit card. I went to new car dealers and they would just laugh at me and not even talk to me.

These people are the dicks of the world. They abuse, mistreat, and look down every time they get but the first time something happens in the world they come screaming to us for help and protection. This is one of the major reasons I got out. I LOVED MY JOB, did not care much for the Navy but the local people made it even worse. The best place I was was Florida. They treated us like we were actual people, and not a sale coming into the door. I was in Va Beach for almost 13 months and it was the worst place I was stationed, these people realize that were thier bread and butter, but still mistreat us. The whole section of south east VA ocean side would NOT be there had the Navy not moved in.

While I was in Va I got 3 tickets(traffic) and a parking ticket. 2 of the tickets were for doing less then 7 MPH over the limit!(both zones were 35+) the parking ticket was the last day of the meter enforcment(it ended at 10 PM) I had parked there at 930!. The other ticket I am not going to argue with cause I was doing WELL over the limit heading OUT of VA. The Va Beach cops once followed me for 2 1/2 hours!. I eventually pulled over the cops stopped I got out and asked why they were following me and they left after that. But come on WTF is the deal here? We are the ones that have to risk our lives if something in the world get F'ed up while we are spit on and other loving things that the american people like to do to the military.

I was very happy and patriotic when I joined the Navy, but after going to Va it was ALL lost. Even now it takes alot to get me rallied to protecting the people. I would almost rather send these friggin idiots into war and have them live in the military for 12 months and see how they are treated by there fellow "patriotic american's" when an emergecy is not going on or just passed.

But BTW that was a very funny pic, and it's nice to know that at least some americans appriciate us.
