Last yea around September i bought a base firebird from a guy around the corner.being where is snows and useing salt on the road it was kind of a good find being garaged in the winter. well now its time to paint it because it has one of the awesome gm paint jobs (just kidding). pics go up tom. i wanted to start a thread to show the progress.



this is it as of now.

 

this is the car as of now. going to paint it dark metallic brown. i think the color is dark chestnut. then i am thinking i will do the bottem the gold. and the spoiler also gold i havnt seen that on any other third gens and cant wait to do it. will have more pics by the end of the weekend.

 

does anyone have pictures of a differant colored spoiler? or t top cover bars. i would like and idea of it.

 

Good work! It took me about 3-4 months to have mine driveable again.

 

Well i went to get paint today and i got my codes done and found out the car was not originally brown and gold. i had my eye on meduim quaser blue metalic so that what i went with. ill be shooting next nice day

 

finally done with it. just some wet sanding and putting the decals back on. came out good.

 

is this a rattle can job? not trying to be a d1ck or nothing, maybe the angle but the paint looks uneven.
