Re: Post your silver car pics here
I was bored and googled silver IROC and came across this thread so I figured I'd post up pics of mine. It's about 98% stock/original with just shy of 48K on it.

Nice! Any interior shots?
I can't wait until I get mine looking that nice

Re: Post your silver car pics here
Yeah, stupid board limits to 8 pictures per post. I need to get more/better pics of it. I had done a photo shoot and had a bunch of nice pictures the other year and then my hard drive crashed and I lost them.

That was the mileage it had when I bought it from my dad and brought it home.

Re: Post your silver car pics here
It's got a few little blemishes. There's a crack in the fascia under the drivers parking light where the owner before my dad smucked a parking block or curb and cracked it and scraped the underneath. There's a door ding above the molding on the passenger door. There's a little fading on the top of the rear seat and this year when I got it out, I see the headliner is starting to sag in a couple spots. That pisses me off the most since it was perfect last year.

Re: Post your silver car pics here
I'll have to see if the weather is decent tomorrow and get some better pictures. It's awesome out right now but have to go to my mother in law's birthday party. I had some great pictures I took last year but had a hard drive die and I lost them.

Re: Post your silver car pics here
yeah i read that, does the engine bay look as good as the rest of the car or better?
Re: Post your silver car pics here
It's pretty clean but needs some more detailing to be really mint. Here's a couple more shots. I cleaned it up a bit more since these pics but mostly the fenderwells where dirt/grease/gunk had stuck on.

Re: Post your silver car pics here
no i was not, i couldnt make it, it was the day after my senoir all night party so i slept most of the day because we were up till 6 a.m. then i helped my neighbor and it slipped my mind, i need to go and meet everyone, cause i feel like a left out bum on the boards
Re: Post your silver car pics here
Here is mine. Originally an 85 Silver Metallic Z28. Was black when i purchased it nearly 10 years ago. Re-painted it about 4 years ago this silver, which i choose after seeing a Cadillac the body shop had just painted. Im thinking about going back to black again after i collect all of the 91-92 gfx pieces tho.

Pictures are not the best quality and I haven't actually driven it (I have taken it out a couple times for quick joyrides tho) since the paint job. The scratch you see on the passenger side wheel-well is from the iron-rod fence as i was backing it in once after a joyride one night...which sux.
But It still needs new glass and most weatherstipping, I do have some lowering springs but I haven't installed the front ones yet.

Re: Post your silver car pics here
alky z you got a nice car just needs some lowering and it will look alot better, mine is gonna look like yours silver with the iroc hood and maybe the torq thrust wheels also i i find them cheao
Re: Post your silver car pics here
Thanks. Yeah i can't wait to see it lowered with the new Eibachs i have. I'm gathering parts for my new engine though and plan on removing and cleaning all the front suspension pieces and crossmember for a whole under-hood & suspension detail when the engine is out. The springs will go on then.
I have new door handles, new door locks, and most of the Z28 emblems yet to put on. I am also almost done converting the original red interior to black and gray , i just need the seat belts and headliner.
Its come a long way from this (and so has my house lol):

Re: Post your silver car pics here
Updated pic of my (non-silver but looks silver James C. lol) - pepper metallic grayish car with new gunmetal gray wheels and tires...as of yesterday. This is my last upgrade for quite a while....and no, the front doesn't sit any higher than the rear...it's just the angle I took the pic at. I know it would look a little better if I lowered it, but on the roads around these parts, I dare not risk it.

EDIT: Ok...maybe I exagerrated a bit about the LS3...I have way too much in this Gen1 SBC to swap anytime soon.

Brilliant silver metallic from a 2010 mustang, The stripes are HOK candy apple red 4 coats over the silver. Its in the middle of being buffed in the pic so its pretty dirty.

They are NOT directional, they are vredestein ultrac sessanta and they only have 1 mold for these, no L&R. Vredestein is located about 2 miles from my house
