I am wanting to see how silver thirdgens look like since i can't really find many i decided to make a thread for anyone else also looks for some they look at this thread. So please post your silver thirdgen pics.

What silver is that i really like how it looks would you happen to have the paint code by any chance.

 

It is GM Sebring Silver Metallic. Its the same silver found on mid 90s fbodies

 

Forgive it's ugliness, it's a project car. But it is silver!

 

Damn man, that car looks clean as hell and damn good in that light silver. I was never a fan of gunmetal GTAs, but that T/A in the lighter silver looks sexy! good job!

 

Ive been wondering how my camaro would look in sebring silver now thanks to you i know im gonna get the color probably by the end of next month ill have my car painted and ill also post pics

 

For some reason I like the quirkiness of the orange/silver combo. You keeping it like that?

 

 

I think the stripping is really red.

Yeah, it's actually red. Although, I think if it was orange, I would probably like that too. And yep, it's staying those colors.

yea there is another first gen white and orange stripes not in the pic lol yess this is my new ride since my blue one well thats a long story its an 89 RS 305 but future plans one day thanks for the comments

Thanks! But no, not Oxford....it's the same color as the Shelby "Eleanor' in the movie "Gone in sixty seconds"....Dupont pepper metallic gray/w metallic black stripes. It sparkles kinda nice in the sunlight!

 

heres a pic of when i first got my car.factory silver but someone painted the gffx black they came dark silver greyish from the factory,ive never seen one like it though.

 

 

Got it for $900 bucks, which is great considering it is pretty much rust free, and perfect for a project car!




taking my time on it now, full resto, LSX/T56/4th Gen interior... good stuff.

 

I like this one. It looks more like gunmetal. Mine will be that color soon.

 

Very cool--I especially like the hockey stripes. The color, which is eye catching, is a far cry from silver, however (IMO).

Thanks and ouch at the same time!! Honestly, if you see it in person you'd feel a lot more differently about it being a far cry from silver. Everyone that's asked about the color has said "What shade of silver is that?" or "Who owns that silver Camaro?". Seriously....But you're right, it's metallic gray...

 

Probably so. Light can make a big difference. My car is met. silver but in certain light and/or shade it can look grayish.

imo there are very few colors that will compliment a rag top but you pulled it off.

 

A raiders logo painted on the ss hood scoop would look nice

 

Raider Nation!!!! Uhhh I don't think so lol. You guys suck hahaha. I did hear it from my shop about the colors and raiders bla bla bla.
But on the other note thanks though. I no longer has the double blackout tint since I am in Texas now and the cops really hate it that dark so I'm fish bowling it for now!!!
