New Paint Concept, need YOUR input!
Basically put, here's my car (and before you say WTF - this was taken 5 years ago when I first bought it.. the paint has degraded over time and it needs a refresh):
I'm staying with the factory red color because I've grown to like it (plus I didn't repaint the engine bay) and I'm starting to wonder what direction to take.
I was thinking about doing a similar to this user's build as far as stripes are concerned:
I'm up in the air, though. I don't really like the idea of the Camaro in solid red with the current color. For some reason that just doesn't look right to me, and I've never liked it with this PARTICULAR red. So I figured - maybe do all the silver two-tone areas black instead, and paint the headlight buckets black as well and leave the stripes out? I've got a 2 inch cowl sitting off the car exactly like the one in the other picture and I've also got a set of 2002 Camaro SS wheels waiting to be mounted. figured I could paint them black to match the color scheme.
Ideas?
- On a side note, I already have a set of tinted tail lights, and blacked out lights as well. The car will also be getting a tint job not long from now so I figured a two-tone red/black would fit well particularly because of this reason.

I would do it exactly how that one guy did that you posted on. To me it would be kind of wierd to paint the bottom part of the car black. I have seen it before and to me it doesnt matter if you have the stripes or not it still looks bad. But yeah do what that one guy did and in my oppinion I would do it almost exactly like him (minus the rims). Can you post a pic of the SS rims? I think I know what they look like but I just want to be sure.

If you need any more photos of that car let me know.Since that photo I have changed the front parking/turn signal lights over to these just to finish off the front.

After some thought, I think I may take a different direction. My first car was a '96 Camaro that I smashed from hydroplaning back in highschool. I think I might make a tribute car with my current one using the same paint colors my old car had (and ronusmcmma's stripe pattern).
