i'd also agree leds would probably be your best bet; a lot easier to find colored leds now than it is to find colored bulbs. may cost a little more, but they'll last for a long time as well

yeah i def. rec. LED's too. i had a 07 yaris a few years back with blue bulbs in the interior. they did next to nothing to actually light the interior up. so i ended them up leaving them on as accent lights lol. then i ended up switching back to white bulbs so i could see.

superbrightleds.com. For my dash i used the leds with 5 bulbs in one. For inside the car by the door, I'm going with the 9 in 1.

Led`s prolly better as stated.I tried the colored courtesy lights for a while in my car.Red looked kinda cool in mine and they lasted for 5 years till i took them out but they do a crappy job of lighting.I just went back to reg bulbs.

LED for sure. I had a red tinted dome light in my 90 Firebird, but it did a horrible job lighting the interior and the red coating burnt off rather quickly.
