Tinted license plate covers. Photos please...
Hello I am thinking of getting a smoked license plate cover for my 84 camaro (rear plate). I like the way these covers look on a clean car. Anyone out there with pics of theirs? Do they fog up due condensation really badly? Any ideas or thoughts are very much appreciated. I found one made by Cruiser Accessories. Here's a link....

let me know what you think. I should add that I do have GTS blackouts on the car too, thinking this tinted plate cover would also be somewhat matching with the blackouts. Thanks for any help or photos.

What you CAN do, and what I've done in the past with success is take a clean cover (available most anywhere) and then lightly spray black/dark spray paint inside of it. If you do it light enough, it will barely tint the cover; enough so that you know there is a difference, but not so much that law enforcement will have an issue with it.
I ran my car like that for about 4-5 years and never had any issues with it.

A tinted tail light cover will get you pulled over and possibly ticketed. Most/all states have laws against them.

got pulled over for it. just because you can buy it off the shelf at autozone or walmart, doesn't make it legal

Thanks for the suggestions guys. I am not in the states, I am in Canada. They do have similar laws here, so I will probably steer clear of em.
Thanks a million fellas,

I dont think they are legal here in texas, I may be wrong, but I do know that we cant have licence plate frames that cover the state name.
