1987 headlight Housing Color

OK, sent my 1987 Iroc-z to the paint shop, and i got it out earlier this week. Need to reassemble the car, look for flaws, and take it back for the flaws to be fixed, and decals applied. When I took the car in, I asked for the headlight housing on the nose piece to be painted black. However, they painted it the same color as the rest of the car. It's a dark red metallic. Anyways, they have done a nice job color sanding it, and as far as it goes, it looks good. The question is, should i take it back, and insist they paint it black.
I know, personal preferance should enter into it. But I happen to like both. And I think, they originally all where painted black, rather than the same as the rest of the car. I'm kind of wanting to avoid having a ton of people tell me that it's painted wrong, when I take it to car shows.
And, Since i'm picking peoples brains anyways, on the front of the car, there's a black plastic piece that has the word Camaro on it. Which is covered if you have a front license tag. (which mine doesn't) Is the letter's supposed to always be silver? Or where there other colors used here, like gold, or white.
Anyways,
Thanks for any advice you can give.

Paint the buckets black for originality and to avoid the "I don't think this is an IROC" business.

There were two colors: silver and gold.

Yeah on my 87 IROC the buckets are black and the letters for the word camaro on mine are silver just like the rest of my IROC decals.
