Painting tail lights....

OK so I want to Night shade my tail lights on my 92 camaro. But I don't like what they look like since they have the grid look to them. Is there any type of body filler or something that can adhere to the plastic. Then basically be sanded down flush and painted so that the light appears to be completely smooth?

Get the covers from GTS. You'll save so much time and effort.

Yeah I'm not into the covers. I want something permanent. And I did a SEARCH and never found what I was looking for. But those custom made lights look like a pain in the ***.

if your talking about the custom lenses then yes they are a pain in the *** but the filler sounds like more of a pain

Re: Painting tail lights....

Filler would be easy imo. Just spread into the lines then just take a D.A. to knock it all down even and smooth and then spray.
