got a few extra wires here, just wondering if anyone has done it before. 84 camaro, 98 camaro dash swap.

3rd gen-4th gen for headlight and dimmer switch
red-red
red-red
yellow-yellow
orange-orange
black-black(for both dimmer and headlight)

now for the ones i'm unsure of:

The thirdgen side has a green and a brown, the 4th gen dimmer has green, brown and grey. The 4th gen headlight has grey and brown.


The dimmer switch wires go in this order looking down the side of the 4th gen switch....green, grey, black, brown.
Which ones do I connect together then?

i "think" so the headlight switch works fine, so does the dimmer switch. Just not sure if one of the wires that I connected together should be left disconnected on the 4th gen wiring side or if connecting them like I did is fine. Right now the off/parking light/headlight works perfectly, as does the dimmer switch.
