How do you guys get 17's to fit???

How the h*** do you guys get these wheels to fit?? I have a 84 H.O. Z that has the 15" alum. 5 stars(for sale) I tried putting on the Chrome SS from vette but they are not close to fitting!! What gives?? The front is stock but the back i have a Ford 9" so does this change things? I would like to get TT 2's or chrome SS(16's or 17's) but don't knwo how to get them to fit!! any info. would be great, thanks!!

you need bolt on spacers for 4thgen or vette rims

Yeah, you need spacers for 4th gen rims... also if you think 17's are a bitch.. ask us how some of us have done (or plan to do) 18's....

Wheels that are made for IROC off-sets.
And their are not to many of those and you have to use spacers. I should know, I am running 17x8.5 wheels & 245/45/ZR17 tires.
