question for all the guys that installed fog/driving light on thier camaro's
i just installed some blazer driving lights and they look great on my camaro "expect pics soon", I had to do a little tweaking since i have a SC to get them on but i did it, I had to put htem behind the grill but I'm thinking about tweaking the grill a bit, then again it looks good just the way it is so i may leave it that way, now my question is, once i install everything, how do i get the wiring for the switch inside the car thorugh the engine bay? i see a rubber stopper thing where wires go in by the driver's side but is it hard to remove/ get the wires through there? and once I do that where do you guys have your switches installed? where is the best place to pop that sucker on? right now i have the wiring going fromt the side of my hood, through the door's crack and lying on the floor near my pedals, talk about ghetto
, any help would be appreciated, thanks
P.S, i really need to know where to put the switch
thanks

I put stock IROC lights on my car. The simplest way to handle it is run a relay from the lights to the parking lights, or the side marker. That way when you pull the head light switch they come on, when you push it in, they go off. Take like 30 min tops and you never have to worry about leaving them on.

sounds good, i'll get a relay form work later today
, but I have a quesiton, say I hooked my driving lights up to the front parking lights with the relay, when i turn my blinkers on will my parking lights flash also? and how would i splice into my parking lights to hook up the drivign lights? duh splicing but whjat tool do i use so i dotn have to cut up the parking light wires? i dotn want a short circuit if it's raining.P.S. i would still like to know where is the best place to put that switch just in case i decide to leave it the way it is

just cut the line and wire your fogs into the parking lights. just don't cut the blue wire. you can cut the black one and the brown
the blue is the high filament (turn sigs)
the brown is the low (parking) filament
the black is the ground
so just cut into the black and the brown use male/female connectors OR be cheap like me and use electrical tape.

What was the tweaking you had to do because it was a SC? Mine is a SC, and it had factory fogs.
I had put some halogens in the Camaro and wired them into the stock harness. I wouldn't be suprised if you don't have fogs and the wires for the switch and the lights were in the stock harness. Take a look for them, and get a junkyard swich.
If you go have factory fogs, wire them in the stock ones. Polarity doesn't matter.

hmm thats interesting,
i don't have GFX, my grill wasn't made for fog lights so i had to hook the light up behind the grill and on a beam, i take it you have the grill for the fog lights? if you do i want to see it pls. they are a bit farther back than there supposed to i take it, but it looks good non the less. better than having non, and at night when i have them on it doesnt even look as if i have a grill in front, someone once todl em the SC grill that was made for fog light is identical as the one without exept that it has the sides of the grill cut out to acommidate the fog light? but telling me that i may already have the wiring and mounts to hook them up is interesting, tell me where they are
i was going to splice into my parking lights today and hook them up.
