1991 RS Restore
Just about finished with my new paint. Just needs the body painted. This started as a car that looked like it was totaled but I know a really good heavy collision guy that hooked me big time. This is what it looked like and then now what it looks like. I will post more when I get further.
Thanks, Chris

Re: 1991 RS Restore
It already has a 350 swapped in it with a TBI top end. When I sell my 1996 Firebird I am going to buy IROC wheels, Edelbrock RPM aluminum heads, Air-gap intke, Edelbrock 750 carb. Then Im not sure what cam I want but I want .500 lift atleast. Its a work in progress..lol
BTW: The owner said it was hit buy an F-150 in the driveway then it hit there house....lol $700 little did I know, there was a crate 350 short block in with 70K miles.
Thanks, Chris

Nice job! More work than I would have taken on, but kudos to fixing her up!

Thanks, The cool part is that I really am not going to have much money sunk into when it all back together. Now when I re-do the engine thats a different story..lol

Thanks, antscrd
Here are some current pics of my 91 RS. I got my windows tinted today, it looks so much nicer but I don't have any pics yet. Let me know what you guys think.
Thanks, Chris

Re: 1991 RS Restore
Thanks, it is so fun to drive. I like it a lot better then my 4th gen Firebird. I still have to put in my new struts, UMI subframe connectors, rear lower control arms, relocation brackets, wonderbar, and panhard bar. BTW how do you think 18in IROC wheels would look on this?
Thanks, Chris

Re: 1991 RS Restore
As is it sits now I have $4100 in to it right now, and I bought the car for $700 and I paid $600 for the rear clip. The bill from the body shop was $2350 and I had to supply the paint and the rear clip. I got a totally good deal because the body shop is right next to my cousins shop so were pretty good friends. It just so happened that my cousin was also really good friends with a guy who works at the paint shop so we didn't have to pay the retail cost. So yeah I got the deal of the century!
