Does anyone know where I can find a reproduction of the plastic that covers the lights. Is it possible to fabricate one myself? If so has anyone done it. Someone stole the plastic cover from me @ a mall parking-lot.....A$$holes

My '86 IROC has the same cover. As far as I know, no company makes a new one. I would look at the J/Y, ebay or in the classifieds on this site.

 

Been doing that for over a year now. FYI, the ones on the Firebird do not fit and some 86's have a different style of thirdbrake light that will also not fit. Has to be from an IROC or Z28 I think. Have not come across any RS yet.

No problem! I had no Idea that the bird and Camaro cover was different! I have an '86 bird and I've never tried to make that one fit. (It's just as faded as the one on my IROC. Damn, AZ sun! LOL!) I run across them every time I go to the JY and dont pay them any attention, because they are all just as faded as the ones I have.

 

the fading is no prob, nothing a little paint can't fix. I frequent my local JY's in search for them & always find one on a firebird or sports coupe camaro that don't freaking fit! Thanks for the feedback.
