Fathers Day Car Show - With Pics

So every year in western pa there is a huge car show on fathers day, they shut down a entire almost 1/2 mile of street and park cars all along the street and in every parking lot along the street. This is a judged cars show, so everyone is parked according to class. Here are some pictures of my car.

Here are a couple of a Trans Am, and sorry i cant remember the year, its all original, 4 owners, 4X,XXX miles on it. Is really clean, looks awesome. They guy had a for sale sign on it, so i asked him what he wanted....$17,500 was what he told me. Then he asked me what i thought of that price after we got to talking, i told him i had no clue. i didnt look at the car that close to even tell you what engine was in it and all the options. I dont know if that car is worth it or not.

Here is a 1983 z28 with a 5.0 HO, the odometer says 7,XXX miles on it, never got to talk to the guy to see if it was 7,XXX or 107,XXX, but it definately looked like it could be the lesser of the two. This car also look pretty original, and the black paint was awesome, all except a couple small scratches in the silver ground effects on the passenger front. He walked away with a trophy.

There were some other third gens spread out in other classes, but nothing even close to these three. Mine was docked some points cause this was to be an unaltered class, and i obviously have some chrome air cleaner and valve covers. Im thinking of taking it back to the stock TBI air cleaner and black valve covers, getting rid of some of those stickers, and maybe some black spark plug wires. Make it look a little more stock, then i think i can walk away with a trophy. Ive got trophys in this class before. Once in 2005 and once in 2007 but that was before any other 3rd gens even showed up.

The class is any 1967-1992 camaro or firebird. So it spans quite a few years.

I wouldnt remove the chrome on your car, just the stickers. But its your ride not mine. Great job with it btw!

Good looking cars! I'm partial to the white RS...

I've seen that black one for sale on hemmings.com, and it's definitely the lesser of the two mileages. Very nice car.

I don't know if that particular TA is worth 17.5 but the thirdgens with desirable and rare options in original, low-mile survivor condition are bringing good money (10-20k range).

Thanks the white RS is mine.

I like the chrome in my engine bay, but, as i get older and start thinking about my car, the more i wonder if i should try to take it back to stock as much as i can for future purposes, you know 20+ years down the road when you start seeing these cars on Barret Jackson and they start talking about numbers matching and things like that.
