One down three to go
Lots of work but pretty happy with the results of my cleaned up wheels.
I went more for the buffed look than polished I kinda like it better but thats just me.
3 more to go still

I stripped with aircrafter stripper sanded with 120 then 320 then 800 sandpaper then got steel wool the 3 grade kind you can get at wal mart or auto part stores used the medium steel wool then the fine to finish it up.
I did most of it wet sanding but not the fine steel wool that was dry.
Repainted with arctic white paint I got in a spray can and clear coated the paint.
Let it dry over night then polished the wheel with a nice coat of Meguiar's cleaner wax.
For the center hub cap just stripped the plastic coating stuff with the aircraft strip then used coarse steel wool then medium then the fine then meguiar's wax on that.

Re: One down three to go
I just sanded with the original machine lines to keep the machined look the lines arent quit as defined as before the sanding but still there.
Then i masked all the bare metal off and re painted and clear coated the painted parts only. The masking is a pain in the butt. I let the paint sit over night to fully dry then unmasked it then took a razor blade and shaved lightly around where the tape wasworked nice.

Re: One down three to go
As was mentioned before, I'm so used to seeing these look like utter crap that its ridiculous how brand new that wheel looks. Keep up the great work, wow.

Re: One down three to go
looks really good. just too bad you couldn't keep the Chevrolet around the center caps.
