anyone swap spoilers?
Hey, I got a cheap aerowing spoiler, and want to mount it on my 91' bird with the crappy one piece spoiler. Anyone ever done this? I there a different way to mount the spoiler to the window with out reusing the little tack welded peices from the original? Anywhere I can get those little piecese if I have to? Someone help me out! Thanks

Those little pieces are pretty important. Those GM aerowings are very weak, and without those clips the spoiler will fall over like a limp... well, you get the point.
Those clips were tack welded to the window frame, but I suppose some epoxy would hold them if you could get your hands on some.
In addition to that, you'll also have to grind and fill the old holes, drill the new ones, and repaint the hatch. It's not hard, but somewhat time consuming.
