Polished IROC Wheels Question

I am currently working on a set of the single line IROC wheels, and was wondering what you guys do or use to keep the high shine/polished look going. How do you maintain them and how often do they get maintained to keep the freshly sanded and polished look going.....

Re: Polished IROC Wheels Question

First of all it's gonna be alot of work. You will need grits from 320 up to 2500 and then a polishing kit from harbor freight or anywhere u wanna buy it from. Just make sure all the machining lines come off with the 320 grit or else it will be harder to remove it with the other grits.

Re: Polished IROC Wheels Question

The sanding and polishing will go fine as I have already done my tpi intake before, I just want to know whay the guys who have done it before use to keep the shine up and if they seal it or treat it with anything.

Re: Polished IROC Wheels Question

Re-polish with White Diamond or similar product and rag - slightly abrasive, removes brake dust and oxidation/corrosion.
