Re: Some New Pics Of my Trans Am

You have smart parents, Car is looking good so far.

Good grades = Good college

Good college + Good grades = Good paying job

Good paying job = Lots of money for parts and Mod's

See math can be rewarding, keep up the hard work

Ahaha. Thats awesome. Id cry if i got my car taken away, Again. Yes i did get it taken away before even driving it.
Story is,all my buddies came over to see the car with the new motor. Parents we're gone. So im revving it,all excited. They all say "do some burnouts! Theyll never know!" it took about half an hour of convincing, but being so excited,i fell for the peer pressure. So Ive never done a burnout in that car until that day. I had some of my friends in the car.I pull it down the subdivision road to where my parents couldnt see the burnout lines. Then i rev it,Scared, worried, and anxious. So finally,i just brake torqued for a bit, nailed the gas. I did a brake torque burnout for about 12 seconds, then let off the brake. My car went down half the road spinning the tires. Then i got excited, and did it about 8 more times:P. Next day i wake up,parents have no idea, sweet.Go to school, all my friends are talking about my bad@ss car. Im all cocky about it,i go home, and my mom screams at me.Takes my phone, car keys, and other privileges away. For 2 months. It was awful. But hey, i honestly dont regret doing it. Ive never done a bad thing in my life. No beer, smoking, parties. Nothing. So going out of my comfort zone was pretty awesome(:

I think its because some people can take someones Plate number and find a way to make it so that they own the car. Im not sure how it works. But people take the number and find ways to make it seem like you stole their car

Re: Some New Pics Of my Trans Am

Beautiful. I think the 87 to 89s were some of if not the best looking Firebirds ever. Looks to be in great shape. Promise me you won't do anything stupid to destroy the car I would have given my left ANYTHING for back when I was 16 in back in 1989. I destroyed my 1977 Camaro LT and still regret it to this day.

Re: Some New Pics Of my Trans Am

Thanks, I trust your word and your parents do too, or they wouldn't have let you keep it, I'm sure! A few years ago, I finally found a 1987 GTA (black/tan int.) that was in decent shape (for$1500) but it had a meltdown with a cracked head/ block so I donated her to some another third gen owner/friend of mine.
