A heat gun would help tremendously.

^ Yes. Get a heat gun...a hair dryer would work and get something to get underneath like a razor blade or something...obviously you have to be extremely careful. And if it's vinyl it should just peel right off. Do it slowly and carefully. The only thing that would suck is if those stripes have been on there long enough the paint will be newer and blacker underneath.

A heat gun and a lot of care? Maybe some very hot water soaked rags left over the stickers? Something to soften up the adhesive, of course. Hell, with a black car you might be able to park it outside on a hot sunny day and just peel the stickers off.
You do know your losing about 3-5 hp a sticker right? HA

Heat gun works best for removing the sticker, but the residue is still kind of difficult to remove. I use something like goo off and a soft rag. Hot water can work too, but it has to be scalding hot and takes a bit longer due to the water cooling down.

You need to be extremely cautios with the heat gun, you can mess up your paint if you stay in one spot to long. If you use a razor blade sand the ends with a piece of 220 grit paper, I know this sound wierd but if you look at a razor blade under a microscope you will see imperfections in the edge, this cleans it up and makes it smooth. We used this method for removing decals from police cars that came into the shop for repair. Leaving it out in the sun for a day should soften them up, try and lift an edge with the blade and grab hold and pull slow, it just wmay come off.

Post 12 & 14 are the only way to go. WD 40 and goo be gone will finish the job. Hopefully the paint was fully cured before the vinyl was added.

heat gun, peel it off and use 3M adhesive remover from any auto parts store, should take not even 5 minutes

Looks like he had a nice paint job put on it. Sweet looking ride. Black is so hard to keep clean. But it sure looks nice when it is clean!

Hey, I'm a detailer so sometimes i have to take things like vinyl graphics off vans when they are being sold on.
I use a heat gun and if you get the edge of the sticker, the rest should come with it slowly and carfully. NEVER usa a razor blade. If you slip, jump or sneeze, there goes your paint job.
Then for what glue or adhesive is left, either go to an auto parts store and buy some tar remover or just use gasoline or parrafin. It dues the same job.
Do it like that, and you'll find they come off easily and leave no marks
