Fix for stained / dull / dingy glass?

The '92 that I just bought was sitting for years in a field with the windows down a bit and where the weatherstripping line is, a bunch of trash collected and this made for some dull / dingy spots and a line on the side glass that won't go away with regular glass cleaner.

Any tips or perhaps another product / technique that would work better?

I have that same problem too on both my windows. i tried alot of stuff and even resorted to using a stainless steel blade and even that wouldn't cut through the stain. please let me know if u find anything. i've been using anything i could get my hands on. ill let u know if i find anything that works also.

No, polishing compound (white) then some polish and wax, they do make glass compound also

This product worked great on my badly stained windows: Nothin's Better Water Stain Remover (Powder and Paste). An inexpensive cure worth a try.

This stuff worked on my friends windows, but not sure if strong enough for what you're describing.
