Glass beading the plenum

Ok so I am finally ready to polish my plenum. I read the article on here several times about how to do it but it looks like a really long process. I was wondering if it would help to glass bead the plenum first? Would this save me some steps and could I skip doing a lot of the hand sanding? Also if I glass beaded the runners could I get a nice shine on them too? I'm not looking for anything show quality but I love the look of the polished plenum. Thanks for any info.

Won't help. Your going to have to break down and do the manual labor.

If you have access to one and dont mind spending a few extra dollars...The best way to do the major flat areas is with a belt sander with a 220 grit then 400 grit etc...once you get it down some go to an 800 grit and wetsand. When i was finished with sanding mine i polished it with some stuff called white rouge on a buffing wheel

good luck
