a good polish after wetsand?

a good polish after wetsand?
pretty much title sums it up but , im looking for a good polish for my car to apply. i was told by sherwin williams auto paint that something with a silicone edge is what i need..any one have any good products of the sort to recommend? it was a budget job so its gonna need to be something that holds up better

I'm guessing you just had a paint job..
What grit did you finish wetsanding your car with??
If it was 2,000 grit your going to need a multi speed buffer, a wool pad and some compound for that.
Once your done there you can move on to the foam pad and proper products for that.
Depending on the paint you used you may get away with going strait to the foam pad.

ive got a door, fender and bumper(including chin spoiler) to replace down the road to make the car worth painting the right way. theres no rust but it got dented right on the body line and i couldnt get it quite right. and the bumper is ok but i want a different year. just puttin this out there as a disclaimer
