Scrolling Marquee
I was just thinking of how I could use a computer in my car to show real-time diagnostics, and I was thinking why not put up a scrolling marquee in the back window. This way I could tell people to back off, or I could scroll a middle finger.
It'd be like an interactive bumper sticker.

Haha, cops might write that up as a distraction to other drivers though. Not something I'd do on my car..

Ya, but that'd be hilarious to see at least once.

go to www.streetglow.com; they make a license plate with a scrolling led display. it's the closest thing you'll come to.
as far as the computer, their is a diagnostics program, $350 that you can run on a base pentium laptop computer that will work with just about any car displaying just about any info your car puts out. same thing GM techs use when testing their cars.
