Tint and back window

If you have a rear defroster, is there anyway to get that window tinted withough disabiling the defroster?

Yes. The tint doesn't hurt the defroster, nor does it keep it from working. The problem is when the tint is new, you have to wait atleast 30 days to let the glue dry. Otherwise you'll short out your defroster. Then, getting it off isn't too much fun easier.

That does suck. The place that I always go to and take my family and friend to, is where I used to work. The guy there tells every customer the whole deal. Not to roll the windows down for 2-3 days, not to use Windex or any other amonia based product, and about the rear defroster. We've even seen other shops take the old film off with razors. On the doors that's ok, but it will ruin your defroster. Some shops just don't care.

I have also been wanting to know about this. Will the defroster affect the tint at all when used later after the 30 days?
