I found the "Black Box"...

Turtle Wax’s that is . . . and I’m pleased with the results! . . . while the reflectivity and shine didn’t change much, I did notice a rich, deeper look to the black paint . . . the car was repainted 12yrs ago, so my goal was to try and bring back that "new paint" look . . . now let’s see how it holds up!

Re: I found the "Black Box"...

Car looks great, I've heard good things about the Black Box. When I had my Mustang, which was black, I used Chemical Guys Pete'e '53 which was also made just for black, and it gave it a really deep look.

Since I try to avoid rain at all costs...how does it hold up to washing?

You sold your GT? I guess so you could buy the new Beetle, eh?

I don't blame you, the new Beetles look awesome.

Re: I found the "Black Box"...

Yep, wanted to get something new for the wife with a warranty; I got a good price on trade and since it's July that helps with the Mustang, so I decided to let it go, as much as I loved it and as nice as it was. Though, selling it means one thing...something new for me down the road, so I'm looking around.

It was a great car though, it will be missed.

I've also got a thread on this!

I swear by this stuff. It did an amazing job for mine as well and I couldn't be any happier. Haha. Really gives that deep black shine.
