I wish i had both a ttop and a hardtop thirdgen. I have ttops and i drive my car all year here in jersey. Glass TTops for the summer and plastic for the winter.

Well...coming from a formar IROC Z T-Top owner...
I just picked up my GTA hardtop, and my Firebird Formula 'vert...yes, I bought 2 cars...
Never again will I be partially pregnant. The vert is the way to go for open air, and the hardtop is just SOLID...

I live in Washington, which may be why I am more interested in hard tops. Only ever sat in two T tops and one of them leaked.. Being in the rainy state that is a deal breaker.
I also hear that upgrades such as sub frame connectors are a must on t tops but are just recommended for hard tops.
In a few years when Im financially stable I would love to get a hard top and a t top, but if my current daily driver is still around it just won't be practical (because I want to restore a first or second gen for a weekend driver.. and then having a t top as a sunny driver just wouldn't make sense) If insurance wasn't a factor, I'd have them all!

I'm a huge fan of t-tops and wouldn't own a Camaro without them.
You put any additional HP in a T-Top car and subframes are a must! never had a problem with leakage after I had a SF welded in. And the difference in ride quality is like night and day as well.
