Hey guys i just wanted to share my new paint job on my Trans Am. When i was going to paint it i couldn't find any pictures of a redfire metallic thirdgen, the closest i could find was crimson red pearl which is just about the same thing. Here are some more pics of the car before and after!

Before it was a bright red GM color found on most thirdgens

I really like that color. I am in the process of completely striping the metallic green factory paint off of my 92 and you car is pretty close to what I am aiming for. Can't wait till mine looks as good as yours.

Here it is as it sits today. Striped paint last weekend and now into sanding and then a little body work. But one day soon....... it will be a more beautiful than ever. Thanks for posting the pics. Helps with the motivation to finish mine.

I Liked the old red better. Now it kinda looks like the stock color of my car.

You guys where the first two to say that, everyone else likes it 0.o lol most people IRL like it much better. But hey everyone has an opinions.

 

Not ******* the car man-it looks good now, but I have always liked true red's better. I like the color of my car, but wish it was the color yours use to be.

 

No probelm, i didnt HATE the color that much it was just the pervious owner that painted it had not a clue pf what he was doing XD. the orignal color was blue, but i like red

 

LOVE the darker red. Looks much better than the original color IMO, and I used to own one in that same shade of bright red.

Thanks for the kind words!!!! And its funny my orignal color was the color of your car, and then the PO repainted it that bright red and did an Awful job, so i painted it the redfire metallic
