Torq-Thrust II owners, please help!!! (backspacing)

I just priced some Torq-Thrust II 16x8's at the local goodyear and it sounded reasonable, 205$ per wheel. First off, does anyone have 16x8 Torq-Thrust II's??? I'd really like to see a pic of them in this size if anyone can help me out. Second, backspacing. I hear people talk about it, and I'm not really a wheel person so I'm not sure what I need. I have a CHP magazine that says the backspacing on the 3rd gen is 5.5 for 16 inch wheels with 255/50 tires. I checked the backspacing of the Torq-Thrust II and it says 4.75'' Rear Spacing, 5 on 4.75'' Bolt Pattern. Would I need something to make these fit right? Am I right in seein a .75 difference in spacing? Is there some sort of spacer I would need or something? Any help would be great, thanks.

why not get 17s? The backspacing for 17x8 was 4.5" I think and 5.5" for 17x9.5

I don't have that kind of money to spend on this stuff. Maybe ROH Snypers... They are cheaper, I could prolly afford their 17x8. Would they fit? And what size tire would I use for that?

I am pretty sure that you can get the ROHs to fit. Good tire sizes would be 245/45/17 or 255/40/17
