swirl marks?

I've got swirl marks on the hood of my 92 bird, and no where else on the car. Anyways, is there anyway to get the swirl marks off or do I have to wait until I get it repainted?

There are polishes (that you use instead of waxes, not the abrasive polishes) that are designed to eliminate swirl marks. They are available at parts stores, wal-mart, lots of places.

Any thing that says "cleaner wax" should do it. Meguiars makes it, and Turtle wax also makes it. It not onlt takes the swirl marks out, it also waxes the car too.
