I think it is just the way the top most brake light reflects off the car.

Looks the same as it always did to me. Not that's a bad thing, car shined well before and just as well now but with added protection. BTW, how long did you wait? Has it been over a month?

The pics do it no justice, with the Zaino on there now it looks like the clear was just sprayed on. it shined like a B**ch before but its 10x better now. Heres more pics see if this shows it any better.

Yeah its been 2-3 months almost now so I'm good. I wasnt gonna even bother waxing at all it looked so good, but I heard so much about zaino I had to try it, glad I did. Its also SMOOTHE as hell too.

Not trying to flame here.So please do not get mad at what I am about to say. Please smile now and be smiling after you read my reply...In the first few pics.pic 1 and 3 I think,is your car running?I see like white exhaust coming from your pipes or is that some kind of weird shadow.I think its tacky to have a car running when you take pics of it,IMO.And as far as your second pic, what type of lawnmower tire is that, your car looks so HUGE up against those wheels. The wheel also looks like its sittin at a different angle than your car,bad axle maybe, worn drums?Need to do something with those tires man, looks like you ripped off a kids bicycle tires. As far as your title "head to toe" don't you mean "top to bottom"

A little rough on the guy weren't you, good thing you pointed out at first you weren't trying to be rude. I like the tires and wheels, but now that it's pointed out it does look like the back tires are shorter than the front. Then again it could be the angle. Either way, I would love to have that car, and I'm not a big 3rd Gen TA fan.

I guess its the angle, I looked at it afterwards, it does look kinda wierd in that pic.

My car was running, I just snapped the pic real quick this morning and came in and posted it while my car was warming up this morning

KJ: thats pretty funny

High Performance Pontiac's editor E-mailed me today again....told me he got my stuff, he's looking it over, and to give him a call or E-mail him in about a week

I bought one, I zainoed my car last week. because my paint was done only about 5 months ago, it didn't do much for me either. It did help on the back bumper where everything collects, and pulled a decent about out of the taillights.

You zaino the wheels as well? They say it'll make them shine better than ever.

First off,I never said anything about the exhaust.I was just wondering if it was running or not because of the "white shadow" and as far as you being from Hono, isn't that suppose to be HOMO? and you think my A$$ is made of candy and you want to lick it?WTF????I am not that type girlie man.And to the other reply, wanna know what I drive huh?Which IROC to start with..HMMMMM..how about my 355ci 87 with a 200hp shot of NOS or maybe my 88 with a 383 intercepter police engine or we might talk about my 92 that is currently getting an engine transplant from a totaled Dodge R/T.I am looking somewhere around 500 rwhp rom the engine and all the mods I have planned.I will try and post some pics if I don't get booted off here Nice car BTW,small tires though

I put 4 on mine, but the object was to remove swirl marks. In which it did alright, but not as well as I was hoping. More coat might have fixed the problem. Bad thing mine is, I realized how much orange peel I have. Never been wetsanded and I'm now seeing that it needs it. However, it's getting painted in March, so not really worried about it.

FLYBYU, You're having a viper V-10 put into your 92 IROC? Is that what you are saying? I'd also like to see some pictures of the 383 police interceptor engine.

The only thing that could even be taken semi negative that I have to say is that that car DESERVES to have either 17x9s or to be lowered.

DAMMMMMMNNNNNN i love that car!

86Fyrbird, although it's beautiful now, when you get that bad-boy lowered, it will really be sharp.

Which IROC to start with..HMMMMM..how about my 355ci 87 with a 200hp shot of NOS or maybe my 88 with a 383 intercepter police engine or we might talk about my 92 that is currently getting an engine transplant from a totaled Dodge R/T.I am looking somewhere around 500 rwhp rom the engine and all the mods I have planned.
Only 5 posts, and you have insulted the owner of one of the nicest T/A's anywhere, and everyone else's intelligence...Hmmm, I can see you being real popular, lol

But seriously, humor me please, if you will, and give me details on this "Police Interceptor" 383. I mean, GM has never put a 4.030" bore, 3.75" stroke engine in any production car or truck, let alone an "Interceptor" version, so since you mentioned you were putting a "Dodge R/T" engine (you didn't specify Viper, Dakota, Ram or Neon R/T) I'm assuming, maybe, you are talking about the old Chrysler 383 made in '60's???? I'm confused, please clarify this for me

Thanks for all the defense guys, I just ignore destructive stuff and try to work on the constructive things people say.

Do you really think I have one of the nicest 3rd gens

17x9 I would have liked, but these are all I could find. I think part of the 4x4 look is the 45 series tires....next time I think I may go with 50 series. I dunno. I 'd love to lower it. But I cant. See the pic below to see why. and my mechanic and exhaust shops say that with my headers (Edelbrock T.E.S) It cant be any differently done.

I bet none of ya's noticed this b4

One draw back to 3" exhaust, is the exact reason I bought it, ITS SO DAMN BIG

that's wierd, because my formy has that same style exhaust. I thought about lowering mine, till I realized that. I run 245/50's. I think my car's low enough. What kind of spring/shocks are you using, that could make the difference.

You have to do something about that gap. I have SLP headers and have no problems with ground clearance, I'd double check to see if there is something you can do with your header clearance, I've seen other TransAms with Edelbrock headers and have heard of no problems with lowering.

I love your paint job and the ram air hood! Incredible!

Tacky to have the car running? What the hell are you talking about?
Bad axle, worn drums, or maybe, the steering wheel is turned?
Critiquing his title, Mr. English teacher? How about some spaces after your periods?

A 1992 IROC huh? Pretty rare car you got there. So rare, it was never even made.

As for you getting booted off... we can only hope. Bad impressions are hard to live down man. Good luck.

Damnn.....that has got to be one of the ugliest hoods I have laid eyes on. The rest of the car looks clean though....well....except for that it can probably use some larger rims, and it needs to be dropped.

This post has motivated me to build a 69 Charger V10 Cummins Turbo Diesel for one of my 22 IROCs.

Sweet car dude. That color is hot and the rest of the car looks great. Oddly enough, I hate that hood on every car except yours. On your car, it seems to be a perfect match.

Oh by the way, when you move up to 50 series tires, you'll probably be able to get away with lowering it. I've got my IROC lowered about 2", and I've got at least 3 or 4" from the bottom of my 3" cat to the ground, and I rarely scrape it on things, but I do have to be careful where I drive. Of course, I've got 255s, and when I go back to the right tire height, I'll be a little closer to the ground.

I second that. I hate that hood on all thirdgens but his. It doesn't go with anything on the cars, but with the fourth gen spoiler, it looks nice. I love his car.
