Alum. Sheets...

I have a friend that is pulling the engine on a 69 chevelle. While it's out he was thinking of covering the fenderwells and firewall and such in polished alum.

Is there any type of company that sells these, or will he have to find some sheets of it and cut to fit as well as polishing?

As for the fenderwells, your best bet would be to polish the steel. For the firewall, just buy a sheet, cut it to size and polish it.

i've seen it done on a few cars and looks really good, i talked with them and they said they just went to a metal place and had to custom cut and polish the metal themselfs, it looks and i was told it is VERY time consuming but does look good.
