Trim Paint Markers.

So, I'm on ebay looking for something and I ran across these Trim Paint Markers by accident.

I decided to order a set and fooled around with them today. I had an old beat up CROSSFIRE INJECTION emblem and the coolant overflow caps which had the white lettering completely erased from rubbing on the hood insulation.

The lettering on the cap on the right was perfect. I dropped it on it's face while it was still wet.

I've done this sort of thing with hobby paints and a high quality brush in the past. These markers deliver a higher quality result.

Imagine all of the TUNED PORT INJECTION emblems which can be saved.

Here's the item: http://www.ebay.com/itm/221412764833...84.m1497.l2649

They also have red, yellow and orange to redo your faded gauge needles.

Charlie- I did my Crossfire badge up all nice and pretty like that. Then I started using the car. It seems the new hood insulation is a tad bit thick. It wore the paint off my Crossfire badge.

Re: Trim Paint Markers.

I'm going to repaint the the front CAMARO plate with flexible bumper paint. The regular trim paint I used a few years ago is starting to fail. The silver marker will make repainting it's CAMARO lettering a snap.

Charlie,

I was JUST ready to put up a post regarding what paint to use for the CAMARO letters in the front insert. Please post pics, your techniques for accomplishing this and how close the color is to your 89's letters.
