craigslist score !!??
i picked up a ss hood on cl for $30 !!! its chipped up on the edges and one very tiny crack but i figured i could use some fiberglass resin to fill the chipped edges and just fiberglass to fix the crack.
i might have $50 total into it so if it doesnt work out, no big deal lol

Good find. I'm not a fan of SS scoops on these cars, but for the price you can't pass it up.

At the Garage Journal, when someone makes a similar score, they are greeted with a resounding "You Suck!".
But since I'm new to the forum, I'll just say Congratulations!

Re: craigslist score !!??
Is it a lift off or bolt on ?
Even if its bolt on, it will require hood pins in the front for peace of mind, especially with a tiny crack.
I even use them on my steel hood.
There is a way to install them without drilling the 4 small holes to hold on the bottom plate using stainless washers thin rubber washers and clear RTV silicone adhesive.
They do stay.
