November 2014 COTM *Nomination Thread*
This thread is a Nomination Thread to nominate cars that will compete for this month's Car of the Month honor. The 10 or less most popularly nominated cars will be compiled into a *Voting Thread* in a couple of weeks. If you do not nominate a member's car for COTM, you can still second or third (fourth, fifth, so on) someone else's nomination. cars must have at least a second nomination in order to make the Voting Thread.
Do not nominate your own car. Your car must be nominated by another TGO Member.
Do not ask your wife, husband, friends, extended family, etc. to register as TGO Members for the purpose of nominating your car. If you are nominated, do not ask people to register as TGO Members for the purpose of voting for your car.
Do not nominate more than one car.
This is not a picture thread. Post only ONE good photo of the car you wish to nominate. Do not use photo-shopped pictures.
you must post a picture with your nomination.
Do not nominate cars that are not in a high quality, finished state.
And if you are nominated, please DO go out and take an abundance of good quality photos of your ride (multiple angles, interior, engine) and make them publicly accessible (for example via a photo album in your public profile or some sort of hyperlink to your photo album.)
*****This Month's Criteria*****
after careful consideration, its Open Season again.
Any high quality, finished, stock or modified Camaro or Firebird can be nominated.
this time, there I've provided some suggesting reading/source material that I believe has some very nice, worthy cars. of course there are other sources to find COTM Nominations, but you may find some worthy competitors by perusing the following threads:

Even though he was in last months COTM, I'm nominating 86'sportcoupe again. Zachs car truly deserves it, it's by far one of the cleanest sport coupes I've ever seen! Go get em Zach!

I nominate joe tag's camaro....saw this car in person recently and it's immaculate!!! Also, this car was originally at a junk yard before he saved it's life. Amazing work to where it's at now.

Threw me off there with the 88-90 IROC wheels. If they don't want to count my second, no biggie! Looks like you've done a lot of hard work. The Z28 looks amazing, and is well deserving to go up to the voting process for COTM.

Re: November 2014 COTM *Nomination Thread*
It ran:
14.8 w/heads and cam, no tune.
14.2 with mini ram, same heads/cam with chip.
13.2 with tune on dyno, same mods *goes to show that mail order chips are useless
12.9 with no tune after 406 implant
11.9 with new 4" exhaust plus tune.
All done with 700R4 & 4.10 gears. I dont recall mph of earlier runs but the last two were 106 & 117.
Thanks again

Re: November 2014 COTM *Nomination Thread*
CharcoalBird,
I sent a direct message to TA88GTA asking him to make more photos available. I saw other photos (and the car is worthy to compete) but was not able to copy and paste them to TGO. once more photos [of the car cleaned up] become available I will edit your nomination. there is nothing wrong with an in-action photo or two where the car is dusty, but as a stand alone, it is not an acceptable representation of the car.
I understand your position (I think) that its a badass car and you couldn't find a better postable photo. I ran into the same problem. hopefully, TA88GTA will come thru with some of those cleaned up pics.

I understand where you are coming from. Dusty or not...this car is far superior to any of the cars nominated so far. Unfortunately it is the only photo and cleanest photo i can find.
Not only that but seriously...this is an open month...surely the nominations would be of cars such as this...not just kinda clean cars.

Re: November 2014 COTM *Nomination Thread*
Since I was nominated I guess I should put a short list here. It's got a healthy 6.0/T56 swap, 8.8 rear, all suspension and chassis upgrades, custom stitched two tone 4th gen camaro seats, retro fit HID, etc etc. Not really anything left stock except the body panels (actually not even that with the spoiler mod), and the interior except for the seats.

Re: November 2014 COTM *Nomination Thread*
For everyone's situational awareness and future reference, i have had to change a couple of Nomination pics due to the fact that Photo-shop or other photo editing was used.
aside from that though, lots of good input this month. i hope to get a few more Nominees.

Did not notice anyone else do it, so I second the nomination for jbenge. I love the Ls1 swaps, especially when they go the extra mile to do a complete swap with AC that appears to have been installed on the assembly line.
