Turtle wax super hard shell. Paste vs. Liquid
I recently bought both of these waxes and kind of wanted to see if one worked better than the other.
Both were on sale for $3.99
The paste comes with a foam applicator pad (cheap)
The liquid just comes in the bottle.
Both these waxes are the same exact brand, they claim the only difference is that one is a paste, and and one is a liquid.
Before I used each product, I washed my car with dawn dish soap to remove any old wax, that way it would only be the Turtle wax.
After doing the whole process twice, my final preference is that the paste looks, and feels the best. But the liquid is a lot easier to apply and remove.
The paste dries very fast and creates little dust particles when wiping away, even though it was 60* and cloudy out. I had no such issues with the liquid.
First pic of the rear is the paste wax. Second pic is the liquid wax. I know they're bad pics, but it's all my phone can do.
Please respond with any questions about these waxes!

Yeah, majority of phones don't have good enough cameras to take detailed pictures. Really need a nice camera. Nice car though! What do you use on your black trim pieces?

For the black trim, I wash them like regular with the car. Then I apply tire shine to ONLY the black trim. I always apply it after waxing, that way you don't get wax on it and mess them up. The tire shine lasts for weeks without going dull. I have done this with all plastic trim on every car I've ever owned and it has had no adverse effects.
The tire shine is a bit greasy. So don't put it on parts you tend to touch (interior plastics). Plus, I get it at the dollar store. It works better than my meguiars tire foam.

The car with wax looks great, but what's more impressive is the fact that you were able to even wax your car outdoors before the middle of March in Wisconsin. Now that's amazing.
I'm in the Madison area. Yep, pretty awesome weather we had last week and weekend! Great job taking advantage of it.
I also tend to prefer paste over the liquids.
